At Gushing Green, we specialize in lawn and landscape fertilization, weed control, tree & shrub pest control services, and core aeration. We also offer Plant Growth Regulator and Top Dressing services. Our goal is to help your outdoor spaces thrive, however we do NOT offer any lawn or landscape maintenance services like mowing, mulch, tree trimming, etc...

The frequency of lawn fertilization depends on various factors including grass type and local climate. Generally, we recommend fertilizing every 6-8 weeks during the growing season for optimal results. This would equate to Qty4 Fertilizer applications per season in our region.
Core aeration involves perforating the soil with holes to allow air, water, and nutrients to penetrate deeper. This process is essential for alleviating soil compaction and improving root health. You'll notice less runoff from rain and irrigation as well as deeper roots that can withstand the harsh Texas summers and foot traffic.
We do offer a liquid or granular aeration product that works like a soil conditioner. It's primarily used in areas where the machine cannot access (small backyard gates) as well as lawn areas that have drip tubing lines that would otherwise be damaged by the coring machine. These methods are not recommended for heavily compacted soils as the chemicals will struggle to reach deep into the soil. Many university extensions services recommend at least one core aeration prior to utilizing liquid or granular aeration for heavily compacted soils (i.e. post-new construction from heavy machinery or heavily trafficked areas).
Not necessarily. Our pest control methods are designed to be effective while minimizing any risks to your family and pets. We always notify you prior to our arrival to ensure all pets and children are inside during the pest control treatments. We recommend all pets and bare feet remain OFF of the treated areas until dry following these applications. The granular applications are safe and require fewer reentry restrictions. We follow all safety guidelines in our treatments.
The key benefits are less mowing, thicker turf, reduced watering needs, enhanced color and improved stress tolerance. All of this is achieved by reducing the vertical growth and all plant energy is directed to horizontal and root development.
We recommend one application each month during the growing season. April thru September.
We do NOT require contracts, however we do offer a 10% pre-payment discount for our annual plans. This discount is only available if the plan is paid in advance and a minimum of Qty4 applications are included in the plan. So, the minimum "contract" would be Qty4 applications IF you decide to pre-pay for the annual plan to receive the 10% discount.
Absolutely not!! You're more than welcome to purchase one-time treatments or multiple treatments throughout the season on an "as-needed" basis. The Annual plans are baseline plans that will GUARANTEE that GUSHING GREEN lawn that so many of our clients rave about.
